FOLDABLE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
Foldable Transport Racks
HF Foldable L-Racks are developed for safe and efficient transport and storage of windows, doors, glass and other large-format products.
The robust steel construction provides stable support during transport, storage and internal handling.
When the racks are not in use, they can be folded down. This significantly reduces the amount of space required for empty racks and makes the system particularly suitable where transport equipment must be stored or returned after delivery.
The folded racks can be stacked on top of each other, helping create an efficient and space-saving return logistics system.
The racks are manufactured from steel hollow sections and hot-dip galvanised for long service life. Rubber profiles are fitted to the contact surfaces to help protect transported products during handling and transport.

Folding Transport Solutions Since 2006
HF Smede- og Maskinværksted A/S developed its first folding transport rack solution in 2006.
Since then, we have produced and supplied folding transport rack solutions for professional customers who need reliable product handling combined with efficient storage and return logistics.
Over the years, the design has developed into a flexible system with three proven standard sizes, while customer-specific solutions remain an important part of our approach.
EFFICIENT RETURN LOGISTICS
Designed to Carry Products – Not Empty Space
One of the key advantages of the HF Folding L-Rack system becomes apparent after the transported products have been delivered.
Instead of returning empty racks in their full working position, the racks can be folded down and stacked closely together.
This reduces the space occupied by empty transport equipment during storage and return transport.
The system is particularly well suited to reusable transport flows where racks repeatedly move between production facilities, customers, warehouses or distribution points.
STANDARD RANGE
Three Standard Sizes
The HF Folding L-Rack system is available in three standard sizes: Small, Medium and Big.
The three standard sizes have been developed as one integrated system.
When folded, the standard models can be stacked together, allowing different rack sizes to be handled, stored and returned efficiently within the same logistics system.
This provides flexibility in daily operation: the rack size can be selected according to the products being transported without losing the benefits of a uniform, foldable and space-efficient transport solution.

Folding L-Rack – Size Big
The Big model is the largest standard HF Folding L-Rack and provides a wide loading area combined with a high rated load capacity.
It is designed for professional applications where larger products or greater loading width are required while retaining the advantages of a foldable and stackable transport system.

The Medium model combines full-height product support with a more compact length than the Big model, making it a versatile standard solution for many professional transport and handling applications.

The Small model provides a compact Folding L-Rack solution for smaller products and applications where reduced rack depth is an advantage.
Despite its smaller dimensions, it retains the core folding, stacking and handling principles of the standard HF Folding L-Rack system.
